Everest Base Camp 'training' week

Lock Tay area - 15th to 22nd September, 2007

Three of us (2 participants of this year's Everest Base Camp Trek + 1 possible future participant) enjoyed six local walks (& 5 Munros) with Richard Struthers of 'Safe Journeys Adventure Treks' and several other trek participants from around the country and indeed abroad.

Accommodation was at the Moness Country Club, Aberfeldy in a spacious and quite luxurious 2 bedroom, self-catering, 'timeshare' cottage. 

'Munros' of the week:- Ben Vrakie; Schiehallion; Beinn Ghlas; Ben Lawers & Meall nan Tarmachan.
